Tucson

We spent just two nights in Tucson, enough to decide we like it here and would gladly come back.

The drive to Tucson was pretty… lots of views of rocks like these.

We stayed at a Thousand Trails RV park in Tucson. It’s a huge place with lots of amenities, including a hot tub and fitness center that we made use of! Spots are small. But we were right in Tucson and had good wifi, which is what we need/want… oh, and it was free with our membership, so that helps!

In Tucson we walked around the old downtown area down by the train station, had dinner and beers… It’s a cute town and we’ll get to know it better next time for sure!

The highlight of our short visit to Tucson was the nearby Saguaro National Park. It was so great, and I’m about to share too many pictures (sorry), but I cannot help it. Cacti everywhere, and a fun way to spend our afternoon/evening and watch the sunset.

Since setting out on our first RV trip back in 2021, we have stopped at seven national parks. We buy a magnet at each one… here they are, so far:
